Come September 2010, this event involves 70 cyclists who will ride a gruelling 320km from Singapore to the Malaysian town of Mersing and back to raise funds for the St. Luke's ElderCare (SLEC) Serangoon Centre.
This year, SLEC will be operating a new centre at Serangoon. The bulk of the recurring operating cost of the new centre - about $200,000 yearly - comes only from kind public donations. It needs all the help it can get.
