NUS KEVII Rag and Flag 2011
Hello to all KEVII-ians and friends!
It’s time once again for the annual NUS Rag and Flag Day, an event that no NUS student should miss! The famous NUS Rag Day, where each hall will put up a fantastic performance with a beautiful float made amazingly from recycled materials, will be held at the floating platform on 9 August this year. And as school starts and hall activities kick in, we tend to get so busy and caught up with our own lives that we forget about the world outside where others are less fortunate.
Flag Day, 3 August 2011, is thus a day where we intentionally set aside our time for a good cause, a day where we strive to achieve the greatest amount of donations from the public. This year, funds raised will benefit a total of 21 charities from the President’s Challenge and the Community Chest, ranging from the elderly, the physically and mentally challenged, to needy children, as well as family services and hospice care.
Representing our hall for Flag Day is something that all KEVII-ians, regardless of age, should take pride in since our hall has a long-standing tradition of charity and giving. If you are however sadly unable to join us on this meaningful day, this online portal allows you to contribute too!
Donate now and be the valiant and magnanimous RED KNIGHT that each and every KEVII-ian stands for, reaching out to the less fortunate and making a difference in their lives today.
